What is Payroll Outsourcing?

  • An organisation is said to have outsourced its payroll function to an external resource where all its back-office activities to process the payroll is performed by the external resource. The activity can range from basic calculation of employee payroll and tax obligations to print and disburse cheques and reports to employees and the management of the organisation extending to optional services such as filing of government compliance returns, payment and filing of individual taxes and annual returns, and consultancy on Income Tax, Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance Scheme, Tax, etc.

How Does Payroll Outsourcing work?

  • Once you sign on with us for payroll processing, we study your business process and staff hierarchy along with salary structure and policies on benefits and reimbursements. We replicate your records on our database and make necessary changes in our proprietary software to adapt to your needs. After reconciliation of the records on our system with the organisation data, we are ready to process your payroll.
    Data required for processing salaries like, leave data, loans and other deductions, reimbursements and benefit transactions, etc are collected and used for processing the payroll. Depending on the nature of outsourcing then, the pay-slips /stubs along with cheques from the bank are dispatched by courier to the employees and the necessary reports such as the salary register, reconciliation, statutory reports, etc. are sent to the organisation.
